PRAYER
We know the most important way to support this ministry is through prayer. Here are a few specific things you can pray for:
- Pray for the children who will be attending VBS, that they will have open hearts and minds to receive the message of God's love.
- Pray for the volunteers and leaders at VBS, that they will have wisdom, patience, and energy to effectively minister to the children.
- Pray for the families of the children, that they will be supportive and encouraging of their children's participation in VBS.
- Pray for the resources needed to run VBS, including finances, materials, and facilities.
- Pray for the VBS Committee as they prepare and plan everything needed to make this week a success, and that they would follow God's leading as they make decisions together.
- Pray for the overall impact of VBS, that it will be a time of spiritual growth and transformation for all involved.
DONATE
VBS week involves many things, from decorations and curriculum, to games and snacks, to teach kids about God and Jesus's love. While donations of items is helpful, running VBS costs money. Any donation is welcome!
Here are some specific ways you can donate to support our efforts.
- $20 - provides crafts for one of our age groups
- $30 - provides snacks for one of our age groups
- $50 - enables us to print individual photos for the attendees to take home
- $100 - helps feed our (very hungry) Junior High group
- $150 - provides items for our Blessing Bags
GIVE
To enhance our attendees experience and reinforce the Bible stories and other teachings during VBS week, we use lots of various, and sometimes unique, items.
