Multiple Children: You may use the online form to register multiple children. However, if they have different parents/guardians, please submit a separate form for each.

 

Age and Day of Participation: Ages PreK through 8th Grade are encouraged to attend VBS which is June 26-30, 2023 from 9-11:30am each day. If your child has not yet attended PreK, your child is eligible to attend VBS if they were born on or before September 1, 2018.

 

Fees: There is no fee for your child to attend VBS. If your child would like to participate in the Mission Project, we will take a collection each morning. If you would like to make a donation to help offset VBS expenses, you can do so here, by contacting one of the participating churches, or at VBS.

 

Friday Program & Touch A Truck Event: Family and friends are invited to our end-of-the-week program on Friday at 11:00am. There will also be a Touch A Truck Event happening at the church following the program. Special thanks to the Arthur Fire and Police Deptartments for making this happen!

 

Daily Pick Up: Dismissal each day can be chaotic. For the safety of our youngest attendees, we will have PreK through Kindergarten gather outside on the south lawn, along with their teachers. Each teacher will be holding a sign indicating their class to help you find the correct group. Older children meeting up with their younger sibling will also need to pick them up from the south lawn. If it is raining, plans will be altered. Older attendees will be dismissed after the younger ones have left the church building. Please DO NOT park on any street around the church and DO NOT enter the church building during pick up. Please enter the SOUTHWEST entrance of the parking lot (will be marked) and park in a space. We appreciate your patience and helping keep all of our children and volunteers safe!

 

Dietary Restrictions & Allergies: If your child has dietary restrictions and/or allergies please mark the appropriate box and a member of the VBS committee will contact you to discuss them. We may not be able to meet every dietary need and may need you to provide snacks for your child. Your child will be given a special name tag or a bracelet to help the snack area identify them.

 

Off-site Activities: Grades 4th-8th will be offsite for most of VBS doing different activities. By registering, you are giving your child permission to travel with the group and leave church property (under adult supervision). 

 

VBS Pictures: On Wednesday during VBS, we will be taking individual photographs that the children will use for part of a craft project (sorry, no make-ups or retakes). Your child is welcome to dress up in their favorite hero costume that day, or any day of VBS. We love to show off how much fun the children are having during VBS and photos taken throughout the week may be posted on our Facebook page and our website. Please note that Arthur VBS will not label or identify children by name in any of these pictures. Please contact Erica Schrock with any concerns about this.

 

Online Pre-Registration Confirmation: A note that says “Your form was successfully submitted” should appear when your registration is in fact successful and you will receive a confirmation email. If your registration does not go through, please email us.
